Dr. Karen Elizabeth Lanier, DDS, MS

Dr. Lanier was born in Lexington, North Carolina. She received her dental hygiene degree from Guilford Technical Institute and her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in dental education from UNC at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Lanier spent several years working as a dental hygienist before attending the University of North Carolina's School of Dentistry. Dr. Lanier received her post-graduate specialty training in periodontics from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry also.

She is the past president of and an active member in the Davidson County and High Point Dental Societies,and the North Carolina Society of Periodontists. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, and the American Academy of Periodontology. She has been coordinating the High Point Dental Study Club for over 5 years.

Dr. Lanier is married with a son and a daughter. She enjoys watersports and spending time with her family and pets.
